CAMBRIDGE, MA – July 6, 2016 – Montague Bikes, the leader in full-size folding bikes, has launched the all-new Paratrooper Elite, a high performance mountain bike designed to handle the toughest trails and fold easily for storage in a vehicle. Its superior componentry, full-size wheels and folding design offer the perfect solution for those looking for a versatile bike to take with them as they hit the open road.
Originally conceived for use by military paratroopers dropping into combat, the Paratrooper Elite represents the ultimate in rugged portability. The bike is well-equipped with a 30-speed Shimano XT drivetrain, XT hydraulic disc brakes, and Rockshox Reba suspension to provide exceptional trail performance. Its 27.5″ Mavic wheels and wide 2.1″ Maxxis tires allow the Paratrooper Elite to roll over obstacles and rough trails with ease and still fold into a vehicle’s trunk when the ride is over.
