Hi SwissBike and Montague Riders!
The Deaflympics (previously the World Games for the Deaf) are an Olympic event held every 4 years for athletes who are hearing-impaired. They are the longest running multi-sport event other than the Olympics themselves, run by deaf people for deaf athletes. They use flags instead of whistles during games, and light flashes instead of starter pistols for races. Around 4,000 athletes from 80 countries will be participating in this year’s Deaflympics, being help in Taipei, Taiwan from September 5
