David Montague With the Minister of Transportation of Taiwan!
Bicycle Retailer and Industry News recently ran an article featuring the TaiPei Cycle Show that was held in TaiPei, Taiwan last month. The TaiPei Cycle Show is a “key venue as its international business grows” says Nicole Formosa of Bicycle Retailer. Exhibitors (like the Montague Corporation) and 15 international distributors packed the Nangang Exhibition Hall for four days showing off their products. This year, the TaiPei show boasted 894 exhibitors and 3,018 booths, the largest in more than 30 years. International visitorship was up nearly 8% reaching nearly 5,000 people from the U.S., Japan, Korea, China, and Germany.
We had a great time at the TaiPei Cycle Show–see our recent blog— and were very excited to present our NEW line of 2010 full-sized folding pavement and mountain bikes.
Jason Norman of Bicycle Retailer Magazine wrote a fantastic article about our new 700c Folding Bikes and the revamp of the Mountain Bike line. “Montague Corporation is going where no mainstream folding bike manufacturer has gone before-into the realm of 700c,” writes Norman. “It really came down to ‘What would be the folding bike that you would want to ride?'” David Montague posed this question as an explanation for choosing to take this step towards full sized folding bikes, and we are loving it!
Norman goes on to praise our new website for its increased accessibility, new visual and navigation features, and options for customer interactions.
