Bill Whitney is a pilot living in central Washington, an area of lush forests, picturesque views in remote destinations, and great mountain bike trails. He regularly combines a Montague folding bike with his Cessna 170 to explore the area. The unique design of Montague folding bikes allow for two full-size mountain bikes to fit in the back of his plane.
Bill and Amy fly all over the Pacific Northwest airplane camping, fishing and mountain biking.
Some of the place they go don’t have runways or even roads to get around, and Bill says their Paratroopers handle the off road environment very well. Having bikes on board allows them to travel far beyond the range they could hike on each trip.
Folded, strapped in, and ready for take off.
RackStand coming in handy for a photo op at one of the many bodies of water in central Washington.
One of their favorite places to visit is Rimrock Lake just west of Yakima, WA. With peaceful serene views of the Cascade mountain range, we can see why!
