In southern Utah is a small city with a big reputation in the world of mountain biking; Moab. Riders come from all over to ride the world class trails the area has to offer. The famous Slick Rock Trail is just outside town, with Arches National Park to the north and Canyonlands National Park to the south. With the incredible natural rock formations and stunning views offered by these parks, it’s no surprise that Moab is a premiere destination for outdoors enthusiasts of all kinds.
Brent Rose recently rode Moab on his Montague X90. He’s has been traveling the US on his Connected States Tour for more than a year. He’s essentially been living out of a van while traveling, but that’s a lot better than it sounds in this case. As a writer for Gizmodo, WIRED, and Outside Magazine, Brent’s van is filled with the latest amenities and technology.

Fantastic! Beautiful shots. I rode slickrock on my Montague BiFrame in 1993. My brother and I tented at a sandy campsite just outside of town and drove up to the trailhead on a beautiful, sunny summer morning. Amazing place, amazing ride, amazing bike. Still love my Montague…in fact, I’m about to replace the pedals now so I can head out for a ride tomorrow morning. Happy to see Montague still building awesome bikes that fold!
